Stable Fabrication possess both the expertise and skill set that comes only from working at the pinnacle of the motor sport industry. We are versatile and capable in all fields of Fabricating, Welding, Machining and Composites Fitting.

Stable Fabrication is a motorsport fabrication and machining company  located in Towcester, near Silverstone Northamptonshire, the heart of British motorsport.

The company was formed in 1990 born from the Stable block on the Hesketh Estate and has become recognised as a market leader in quality workmanship by members of the motor racing fraternity and automotive industry.

We pride ourselves on delivering both machined and fabricated parts to the highest standards and tightest schedules whilst remaining fiercely competitive. Stable Fabrication has steadily grown over the past 30 years with a workforce all from a motorsport background who are used to working to very high tolerances within tight deadlines and wherever possible will accommodate even the most exacting customer requirements.

Working Closely in the Automotive & Motorsport Industry

In 2014 Tom Sweet and his wife Rebecca set up their own Welding and Fabrication company – Sweet Fabrications Ltd. In December 2019 the opportunity arose to join forces with Stable Fabrication Ltd and in October 2023, they completed the acquisition to become 100% owners.

Tom has an abundance of experience in the motorsport industry spanning over 25 years.  In early years he worked on various projects for WRC teams including Mitsubishi, M-Sport, Prodrive and LMP teams such as Courage, Pescarolo, Creation and Lola.

In January 2007 he joined Red Bull Racing’s Fabrication Shop, and went on to become Cell Leader, managing the manufacture of all fabricated components for the F1 cars, working to technical drawings, liaising closely with designers and management as well as setting up fabricating and welding procedures for external suppliers.
